New Year Kirtan Retreat in Germany

29th December 2026 3rd January 2027

Registration will open with Early Bird Prices October 17, 09:00 – October 20, 09:00 (CEST)

Imagine entering 2027 not with another busy night out, unsustainable resolutions or the pressure to reinvent yourself overnight, but feeling uplifted, connected and filled with new energy.

This retreat is an invitation to experience Kirtan at the heart of a joyful New Year celebration — alongside Hatha yoga, breathwork meditation, mindfulness masterclasses, nourishing food, dancing, laughter and plenty of time to connect and simply enjoy being together.

Kirtan is at the centre: through the chanting of sacred sound, music and call-and-response, we come together to experience meditation in a deeply joyful and uplifting way.

Over the course of the retreat, you'll have the chance to explore powerful yet accessible practices, without pressure or expectation. All of this unfolds within a warm, open and free-spirited community — a space to practise, celebrate, have fun, and create the atmosphere together.

Celebrate the New Year through the transformative combination of chanting transcendental sound, creative live music and artistic glowing body art expression.

This is more than just one night of fun, like any other you may have experienced. Through Kirtan, connection and celebration, we create an experience that stays with us beyond the night — leaving you feeling refreshed, inspired, connected and ready to enter the new year with renewed energy and a fresh perspective.

Glow Up for the Night

Before the dance begins, our artist friends will paint glowing fluorescent patterns on faces and hands — you can choose from different artistic references or create your own unique glow ..

Guiding you on your journey

You’ll be welcomed by a group of Kirtan enthusiasts who have been practising for years, sometimes decades. In the Be Peace Community, we share Kirtan meditation and a spiritual lifestyle with our friends and families, bringing joy and happiness into our lives. Now, we’re excited to share these experiences with you.

Our New Year Retreat takes place at Berghof Agatharied, in the beautiful Bavarian countryside, surrounded by forests and the foothills of the Alps.

With crisp winter air, picturesque mountain landscapes and the peaceful beauty of rural Bavaria all around you, it's a wonderful place to step away from everyday life, clear your mind and reconnect with yourself and others.

Why Kirtan Retreat in Germany is the Perfect Setting for Our New Year Celebration?

A Peaceful Mountain Setting

Nestled in the Bavarian Oberland, surrounded by meadows and mountain views, Berghof Agatharied offers a peaceful space to step away from the noise and busyness of everyday life. As the old year comes to an end, the quiet winter landscape creates the perfect atmosphere to slow down, reflect and reconnect with what truly matters.

Space to Be Present

This is a place to come together, make music, meditate, and simply be. Away from busy roads and city noise, we can turn our attention inward and create space for breath, movement, stillness and connection. The natural surroundings become part of the retreat — not through an intensive programme of outdoor activities, but through the sense of peace and spaciousness they offer.

Welcome 2027 in Community

Rather than spending New Year's Eve in crowded places, surrounded by noise and intoxication, we'll gather together in a warm and conscious environment. Through yoga, pranayama, meditation, kirtan, nourishing vegetarian and vegan food, and shared moments of celebration, we'll create a meaningful transition into the New Year.
