Guiding you on your journey
You will be looked after by a group of Kirtan enthusiasts. In the Be Peace Community, we regularly practice Kirtan meditation and a spiritual lifestyle with friends and families, which brings us happiness and joy. Many of us have been doing it for years and decades. The positive impacts on our lives and wonderful experiences which come from the practice have become an indispensable and most important part of our lives. And now we want to share it with you.

Daily Schedule of Activities
Refreshing Mornings
Start your day with a refreshing, deep breathing and invigorating yoga session to awaken your body and mind. Followed by mellow Kirtan and a nourishing vegan/vegetarian breakfast, you will be ready to embrace the rest of the day.
Vibrant Afternoons
Enjoy some free time for rest and reflection, followed by energising hikes through the stunning Norwegian nature. Then, dive into fun workshops like a Healthy Veg Cooking Course, creating your own meditation beads, Mandala & Garland-making.
Healthy Lunch
Indulge in a wholesome, vibrant buffet featuring a variety of delicious vegan and vegetarian dishes, thoughtfully crafted to nourish your body and delight your senses.
Soulful Evenings
Unwind with uplifting Kirtan, followed by sharing, inspiration, and fun games. Ease into the night with a calming lullaby, Kirtan and Yoga Nidra session, then enjoy a soothing cup of tea paired with healthy, delicious sweets.

What is included in the retreat package?
The package includes cosy accommodation, all delicious nourishing meals, energising yoga sessions, heartfelt Kirtan meditation practice, guided hikes, and fun workshops. Everything is thoughtfully arranged so you can simply arrive and unwind.
Do I need prior experience in yoga or meditation?
No prior experience is necessary. Our retreat is designed for all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. You’ll learn practices that stay with you long after the retreat ends.
What should I bring to the retreat?
Comfortable clothes, warm layers, hiking shoes, personal toiletries, and anything that helps you feel grounded.

Where is the Retreat?
Retreat will be at a beautiful small coastal village named Hasselvika, by the famous Norwegian fjords, a ferry ride from Trondheim city. Tucked between gentle forests and the open sea, it carries the quiet charm that Norway does so well: wide skies, clean air, and nature that greets you with both softness and strength.
This is where we’ll stay at Hasselvika Gjestgiveri, a small but cosy guest house re-established in 2020. Each room at the guest house has its own toilet and shower, in addition to a small fridge.
How to get to the Retreat from abroad?
We will help you out by assisting and advising on how to travel to the historical village of Hasselvika.
We recommend travelling to arrive at Trondheim Airport Værnes, then by taxi or train to the city centre and lastly by speed boat to the final destination.
Last time, almost everyone who joined was able to travel in groups: we organised so that they could meet up at the airport, then take the trains and the speedboat together.
